Refund Policy

Last updated: December 6, 2025

We want you to be happy with every task delivered by Total Task. This policy explains how refunds work.

1. When Refunds Are Offered

You may be eligible for a refund if:

  • The deliverable was not completed
  • The work delivered clearly does not match the instructions
  • A technical issue prevented delivery
  • A task was paid twice by mistake

Certain tasks may also qualify for partial refunds depending on progress.

2. When Refunds Are NOT Offered

Refunds are not available if:

  • You changed your mind after work already started
  • You provided unclear or incomplete instructions
  • The task was completed as requested
  • Delays were caused by missing info from your side
  • You used the deliverable already (e.g., posted it, submitted it)

3. Partial Refunds & Cashback

If a task takes longer than the estimated time, overtime may reduce the cost, and you may receive:

  • A partial refund or
  • Cashback credit ("Taskcoins")

depending on the situation.

4. Task Cancellations

If you cancel a task:

Before work starts → Full refund

After progress has been made → Partial refund depending on work completed

After completion → No refund

5. Free Tasks or $0 Tasks

Tasks completed for free (promotions, experiments, perks, jokes, etc.) cannot be refunded.

6. How to Request a Refund

Include:

  • Task ID
  • Reason
  • Any supporting details

Refunds are processed within 3–10 business days depending on payment provider.

7. Abuse of Refund System

We reserve the right to refuse refunds to accounts showing:

  • Repeated refund abuse
  • Fraudulent requests
  • Chargebacks without contacting support first

⚠️ Such accounts may also be restricted or banned.

8. Policy Changes

We may update this policy when needed. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
